December 2012
What a better way to get ladies outdoors there cannot be! We put together a one of a kind “Girl’s Night Out” and nearly sold out the first event! Sometimes it is tough to get a bunch of ladies out in the woods to play (unless they hunt, fish and camp already) So we decided to get more women outdoors we had to entice them. As usual we set up the tents and prepared meals…but this time we did more!
Ladies were free to arrive at Crowley Indian Fields Campground their leisure . Wine tasting with Time for Wine started at 5:30 and they had additional wines available for purchase. Dinner Catered by Vesh was served appx 6:30 pm.
The fashion show with Flint Creek Outfitters featured Mountain Khakis Women’s Apparel and Accessories was held after dinner
and we closed of the silent auction, bucket and door prize drawings all benefitting Dress for Success and Crowley.
We enjoyed Smores and entertainment around the fire. “ The Cracker Tenor” Benjamin Dehart performed for us and share tales of old Florida and more.
Yoga was offered the next morning and many of the ladies too advantage of this! It was good to work the kinks out.
Breakfast was prepared at the campground in Dutch ovens around the campfire and the coffee was flowing. Some of the gals stuck around for the Sugar Cane Harvest. This free event was open to the public from 11am – 7pm that Saturday morning
In addition I have to mention the wonderful vendors that were there offing spa services for the ladies Friday afternoon!
Kara Vita Consultant Sharon Less will have the finest anti-aging skincare products available including eye and lift products you can notice a difference in 5 min after use
Mary Kay Rep. Trisha DeHart will be offering a Soothing Indulge Pampering Session/Microderm Treatment
Jennifer Cummins with Melt Away Massage will be on hand offering chair massage for a small fee
We had a “polish table “ set up with various nail polish colors and removers for those that wanted to spiff up a bit as well.
We had wonderful reviews after this event and look forward to doing again next winter – when there are no bugs and weather cool again. We are available to book this type of event for any group guaranteeing 20 or more attending. Event activities can be customized for your group. Prices will vary.
